Community Grants Awards 3 Arts and Culture Grants
The Community Grants committee recently reviewed ten Arts and Culture Program grant applications requesting a total of $31,000.  With limited funds, the committee was able to award  three grants for a total of $6,000.  Featured this week is the first of those grants.

The Canyon Concert Ballet was awarded $1,000 to support their needs-based scholarship program for current and future students.  Students qualify based on their eligibility for free or reduced lunch thru PSD.  Canyon Concert Ballet believes every child should have the opportunity to learn to dance, no matter their economic circumstances.  Jenna Riedi, Executive Director accepts the grant check from Kathy Nicol.

The Board of Directors has approved the following 3 applications for membership.  Any comments regarding these 3 individuals for RCFC membership should be directed to the club secretary, Kathy Nicol, or their sponsor in writing no later than Aril 21, 2021:

President Del Benson announced a $10,000 donation to the RCFC Legacy Fund from David Everitt and the Everitt family, in support of the Good and Lucky Non-Event!  This brings the total raised to $70,000, plus a $19,000 matching grant for the United Way Fire Relief fund!  Total raised was $89,000!!  Thank you Rotarians for your generous support of our community.

Marty Bachman and Sally Lee report that just 35 families shopping at King Soopers earned $524.87 last quarter - just for shopping!  That's a $525 donation that goes directly into our charitable budget.  If you haven’t signed up yet, see Sally or Marty.
