Merit Badge University
We spent 2 Saturday mornings in January helping at the Scout Merit Badge University. We helped 125 scouts work on completing requirements for 16 different merit badges.

Merit Badge University is an opportunity for Scouts of all ranks to meet expert counselors in a safe, dynamic group setting. The goal is to give each Scout the tools, and connections that will fuel their own motivation to successfully complete up to 2 merit badges.

Food Bank Food Share Program
Rotarians volunteered multiple times at the Food Share program of the Food Bank. This time, we were kept busy re-packing carrots, sorting thru donated produce and serving refrigerated items to clients. Thanks Rotarians for being there!

In February, these energetic Rotarians recently helped out at the Food Bank’s Share program.  We noticed that donations to the Food Bank were down and they ran out of some food items.  Nevertheless, the Food Share clients were still able to fill their carts w/healthy and nutritious foods.  Thanks Rotarians for “being the good” in our community.

Ronny Bush
I liked reading and reciting the Four-Way Test of the Rotarian values. It’s refreshing to speak to the values each week.

I retired at the end of October of this year after nearly 43 years as a State Farm Insurance Agent. The best part of my years as an agent was the relationships developed with so many individuals.  I miss that even today.

It might have appeared to my wife (Alli), my three sons (Blake, Jeff and Rob) and their wives, their 10 kids (my grandkids), their wives and 3 great grandkids that I have been retired for several years.  Not true. The heaviness of responsibility of owning a business never ceases.  I’m now retired and I can breath.   READ MORE...
