The luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Fort Collins at the Lincoln Center this Wednesday will be a musical event. Thanks to the efforts of Ron Rutz, we will be joined by the Loveland Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society
We will hear a presentation of a capella singing by four members of the Society. Though based in Loveland, their membership is derived from many places, such as Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Estes Park, Cheyenne, Berthoud, Windsor, and others. The regional nature of our chorus has enhanced our musical program, as well as the enjoyment and fellowship of barbershop singing throughout the northern Front Range. The main goal of the Society and the Loveland Chapter is to preserve and encourage a style of music that is uniquely American and has been around for over a hundred years.
Songs our guests will be singing at the meeting:
- Jingle Bells
- Sentimental Journey
- Rudolph
- Country Roads
- Winter Wonderland
- Java Jive
- San Francisco Bay Blues
- Silent Night
- We Wish You a Merry Christmas
