Rotary Golf Classic Fundraiser

The Kathy Nicol Memorial Golf Tournament Raised $30,000 in 2025!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and players, this year’s event raised an outstanding net $30,077.79 — funds that will make a direct impact right here in Northern Colorado.

Of that total, $3,609.33 (12%) will be directed back to the Rotary Club of Fort Collins Charities to continue supporting ongoing community initiatives. The remaining $26,468.46 will be divided equally between our two primary beneficiary organizations:

  • Healing Warriors Program — Providing non-narcotic care and suicide prevention services for veterans.

  • Health4Heroes — Supporting the mental health and well-being of local veterans and their families.

Each organization will receive $13,234.23 to continue essential work in supporting our veteran community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every sponsor, volunteer, and participant who made this event such a success. Your support helps us strengthen our community and honor the service of our local heroes.

About the Kathy Nicol Memorial Golf Tournament

Each year, a group of volunteer Rotarians come together to organize a fall fundraiser. Formerly named the Rotary Golf Classic, we rebranded the tournament to the Kathy Nicol Memorial Golf Tournament in 2024 in honor of long-time Rotarian and dedicated philanthropist, Kathy Nicol. Kathy not only encouraged us to establish this golf tournament, but she was also a driving force behind why we kept going after the first year. Kathy passed away in November 2023 from an aggressive cancer and she is deeply missed. 
 
The fundraiser, which has a different beneficiary each year, is held in September and features corporate-sponsored foursome teams, hole sponsors, and more.

The 2024 Kathy Nicol Memorial Golf Tournament Raised $36,544 for Homeward Alliance & Healing Warrior Program

 
We are excited to announce that the 2024 Kathy Nicole Memorial Golf Tournament held on Sept. 13, 2024 to support veteran resources in our community raised $36,544 to be split 50/50 between Healing Warriors Program and Homeward Alliance. 
 

In 2023 We Raised $30,000 for Child Literacy in Northern Colorado!

Thank you to all of the 2023 Rotary Golf Classic Sponsors who helped us to raise a whopping $30,000 for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (a part of the United Way of Larimer County)! 
 

 Held on September 23, 2022, the 2022 Rotary Golf Classic raised $26,444 for Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity!
