Oct. 1, 2025: Our club's Steve Schaefer presented a $2,000 Community Grant check to Cheryl Campbell, on behalf of the Children's Speech and Reading Center in Fort Collins.
Rotary funds will be used to support one-on-one therapy sessions for children with speech and reading challenges, to help them progress to an appropriate age level and beyond. Each child's progress is evaluated every 3-6 months and goals are adjusted as indicated. In 2024, over 800 therapeutic sessions were provided for the children.
