This presentation will describe the motivation, goals and outcomes of the ideation and design process for the new Don and Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies building. The Law Building is designed to be a landmark for interdisciplinary education and innovation, where we bring together engineering, construction, computer science, business, and industry partners to fuel discovery and hands-on learning.

It will be the central home where ideas move from concept to prototype, and where students gain the teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills essential for tomorrow’s workforce. This presentation will highlight how the building and associated new programming are responding to assessed needs for improved student support, hands-on engineering training, AI-powered learning and new industry-facing degree programs.
