The day prior to the Books on Tap event, we have scheduled our first Book Celebration of the 2026-27 school year at Bauder Elementary School on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. It's a wonderful opportunity for you to read with adorable Kindergarten and 1st grade students!
Here is our schedule for the Book Celebration:
- 12:00 PM – Volunteers arrive at Bauder Elementary, sign in at the main office for a visitor badge, and gather in the Media Center.
- 12:05 PM – Welcome by a Book Trust Northern Colorado Regional Advisory Board member.
- 12:08 PM – Welcome by Ms. Patience Peabody, Book Trust President and CEO.
- 12:15 PM – Meet Principal Stephen Boese to learn more about Bauder Elementary.
- 12:20 PM – Head to Ms. Moon’s Kindergarten and Ms. Warner’s 1st-grade classrooms to meet the teachers and pair up with students.
- 12:25 PM – Read aloud with individual students or small groups.
- 12:50 PM – Wrap up reading sessions.
- 12:55 PM – Sign out at the main office.
