RECAP: Rotary’s Vocational Team Training grant program - Featuring Uhambo
Our program on September 20 was the recipient of two related presentations. First, club member Lucinda Kerschensteiner talked about a Rotary Vocational Team Training Grant Program that is being carried out in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Claremont, South Africa. Then Eion Brown, a member of that club who is visiting Fort Collins in conjunction with the Team Training Grant, talked about one of his club’s major fund-raising efforts, an annual bicycle tour around Cape Town, South Africa. Rotary Rams Tailgate
Please join the Fellowship Committee for the CSU – Air Force game and Rotary Tailgate, Saturday October 28 starting at 3:30 PM, on the Coach’s’ Terrace at Canvas Stadium (5:00 PM Kickoff). Fun, Fellowship, games, prizes, all you can eat rotating buffet and free soft drinks. Beer and wine available for purchase.
Just a club reminder, we do not have the Columbine Room at the Lincoln Center on Oct 4. It was already taken when we renewed the contract. However, we have a great location for the meeting at the Rio Grande. If you are a beverage only member and would like a lunch for this meeting, please RSVP at this link.

The dedication of the John E. Roberts Village Arts Gallery will be held Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Doors will open at 2 pm with the dedication scheduled for 3 pm. Roberts co-founded the Museum in 2010 and remained a Board Member until his passing in May of this year. Roberts embraced the values of cultural diversity and acceptance, and his passion, dedication, and leadership at the Museum were an inspiration to many. Thanks to everyone that came out Saturday for our highway cleanup effort. The Rotary Club of Fort Collins has adopted a 2 mile stretch of Mulberry Road since 1989.
