Wednesday, July 27th, Rotary meets at the Lincoln Center at noon, and hosts the always entertaining guest speaker, Bob Meroney. Bob, a fellow Rotarian since 1990, and emeritus professor at Colorado State University, has agreed to bring the club the results of some research on the Poudre River history. READ MORE...
Last week Rotarians Del Benson and Ralph Smith presented a program entitled Views of Wildlife in Words and Pictures. Since Ralph has a much bigger camera and lens, he did the second portion (Pictures). Del focused on the many attitudes people have towards animals. READ MORE...
Last week, at our evening meeting, Jeannette Gaiter shared the inspirational tale of her life. She encouraged attendees to both serve and accept service from others.
Following the noon meeting at the Lincoln Center, on the 27th, the Science and Engineering Fellowship will meet. Ralph Smith will lead a discussion called "What is Monkey Pox and Should We be Concerned?"
Please join the Fort Collins Rotarians’ DEI Fellowship August 3, 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Center, for an engaging conversation about Professionalism in the DEI context! Aaron Appelhans was elected Sheriff of Albany County (Laramie, WY) December 2020. He’ll share his unique experiences and perspectives on being the state’s historic first black Sheriff. He brings a whole new meaning to the state’s moniker, “The Equality State,” giving young people from diverse backgrounds something to aspire to and bringing new perspectives into law enforcement. The Food & Venue committee has started selecting caterers for our noon lunches. This involves some changes in our previous set-up/clean up tasks. We now are only asking 1 Rotarian to be in charge each week. Duties last a maximum of 45 minutes. Let’s all do our part to make it “fair to all concerned”. Please use the Eventbrite to sign up.
For our noon Lincoln Center meetings, please pre-purchase guest lunches on Eventbrite. Please also use Eventbrite to purchase lunches if you normally attend our evening meeting or in the noon beverage only category.
