Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife - Lazy B Chuck Wagon
(Lunch Meeting - August 23rd)
Members of Rotary Club of Fort Collins (luncheon) – For our meeting at the Lincoln Center on August 23, best prepare to be entertained!  Most of us will remember the Andy Griffith Show, and Mayberry RFD.  Remember Opie, now famous as A-list Director Ron Howard?  Following his intro by Sue Wagner next Wednesday, Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife (as portrayed by Michael J, local impersonator and vocalist), will entertain us with his impression of Barney.       READ MORE...

RECAP: Emily Kohan, CSU Volleyball Head Coach
Last week we had a really good time listening to the new (December 2022) head coach of CSU Volleyball, Emily Kohan, and her 3 captains as they shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

Emily shared a little of her bio. It may be that Stacy Plemmons was the only member aware of her hometown, Swink (population 602) in southeastern Colorado. Her dad is a rancher who studied Ag Management; several other family members attended CSU. Emily went to school out-of-state, but she is definitely back! She travels often (recruiting+), commonly accompanied by her 2 young children. She has a good family support system and seems to be on schedule following her mothers’ life plan outlined for her - i.e., she is now where she wants to (and should) be - the head coach of a storied and community-supported team. READ MORE...
