CSU Basketball 2022 Update
On Wednesday, September 14, Rotary welcomes Niko Medved, CSU men’s basketball head coach, to join us for lunch at the Lincoln Center. Stacy Plemmons will introduce our guest. Coach Medved is in his fifth year as the head coach of the Rams’ program in 2022-23. A Colorado State assistant coach from 2007-13, he has led his respective squads to increased win percentage over the previous season in each of his nine years as a head coach. That includes all four seasons at CSU, resulting in a 14-win improvement over four years. READ MORE...
For our September 7th lunch meeting, long-time Rotarian Mike Sollenberger, along with Lori French, gave us an overview of the DMA Plaza and The Remington high-rise senior-living facility on Remington Street at Olive in downtown Fort Collins. The DMA (previously the Downtown Marketing Association) is a non-profit organization that includes the DMA Plaza and The Remington under its wing. Mike, a long-time member of our club, is the President of the Board of the DMA Plaza and Lori is the Executive Director of The Remington. READ MORE...
For our September 7th evening meeting Valerie Miller told us her personal story from the founding of Timnath Beerwerks to her new role as SweetWater Brewery Front of the House Manager. She also gave us a great brewery tour.
On Wednesday the 14th, following our lunch meeting, the History Fellowship will meet at the Lincoln Center. The topic will be "The British Monarchy: What do we think of it and the Royal Family."Everyone and all opinions are welcome.

SweetWater Brewing Company
This week, Club President Marty presented Val Miller, Front of House Manager, at SweetWater Brewing Company with a Rotary Certificate of Appreciation. SweetWater Brewing Fort Collins has been a great host for our evening meetings.
We have been so impressed with the location that it will be our permanent meeting location.
Our inaugural golf tournament will be held on Friday, September 23rd, at the Collindale Golf Course. Even if you are not playing, you can still be involved by making a donation to our Habitat Fundraiser here. Thanks!
