Rotary Picnic!
No Meetings this week - Enjoy our Fall Picnic!
JOIN IN THE FUN!!Our annual Rotary picnic will be held on Wednesday, September 13 from 5:30-8:30 pm at Edora Park (same location as last year). There is NO noon meeting that day. A B-B-Q dinner will be provided by Hog Wild BBQ. Mac and cheese will also be provided. Cost is $20 per adult; kids 12 & under eat free.
In addition to great food and fellowship, we will have cornhole and other family friendly games. Prizes will be awarded to both adults and children. Bring your spouse, partner, friend, and children!!!
For our in-person meeting on September 6, Robin Steele, the RCFC Scholarship Committee Chair, prepared a report on our scholarship grant process (which she intended to present by Zoom), including the names of this year’s scholarship recipients. Unfortunately, an issue with the Lincoln Center sound system resulted in President Randy Kurtz having to ad lib a summary of the report using Robin’s slides. READ MORE...

Jeannie Benson
The board has approved for membership Jeannie Benson. Jeannie Benson is a Colorado native, mother of two and proud grandmother of two grandsons. Jeannie worked as an accountant for 29 years, has been both a member and leader in 4H, and has done missionary work in Haiti. She and her husband Del have traveled extensively. When they're at home in Fort Collins, she enjoys reading, camping and quilting.
Please join us Saturday September 23rd at the Sundance Saloon Parking lot 8:00am for our next highway cleanup. Normally takes 2 to 3 hours, but if more volunteers show up, we can do it in 90 minutes
What to wear: good shoes, and gloves are needed, suggest hat and sunscreen.
What is provided: Coffee, Lamar’s Donuts, and color water for after.

Community grants recently awarded a $1270 youth program grant to Sustainable Living. They will use our grant to help fund their youth climate action event. This is a youth-developed, youth-driven, and youth-led event to promote climate awareness.
