FCR is 22-year-old non-profit organization; its mission is to promote understanding, diversity, and tolerance by breaking barriers among people and cultures through reading. Grant money will be used to help build, install, maintain, and stock "take a book, leave a book" Little Free Libraries in under-represented communities in Fort Collins. The free local libraries will provide thought-provoking and high-demand books that discuss issues important to our community. READ MORE...
The STEM Grant was for the new Rocketry Engineering Course at Lincoln Middle School. This model rocketry course incorporates math and science standards, and exposes students to potential career paths in aerospace engineering. In this class, students will design and build model rockets, make predictions and collect data, launch their designs, and experiment with design. The grant money will be used to purchase needed supplies to support this hands-on STEM experience. READ MORE...
The Food Share, at the Food Bank of Larimer County, is just like a grocery store where customers can shop for fresh foods. Rotarians worked the line, helped customers shop, and restocked the grocery line when items ran out.
