Elections and Their Protections
RCFC welcomes Tina Harris, the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder, to our luncheon meeting at the Lincoln Center this Wednesday. Our guest speaker addresses the program her office will follow in the primary elections for state and local offices, and the November elections coming up. On April 18, 2023, with the support of the Clerk and Recorder leadership, the Larimer County Board of Commissioners appointed Tina Harris to fill the vacancy of Larimer County Clerk and Recorder – a vacancy created by the retirement of Angela Myers. This, in recognition of her entirely non-partisan approach, and how critical that quality is for the success of Clerk and Recorder operations. READ MORE...
Last week we got an update on UC Health’s “North Market” from Kevin Unger, RCFC member and CEO of PVH and MCR hospitals. He was introduced by another prestigious RCFC member: his father, Don Unger. The “nearby” hospitals in the system also include UCH Greeley Hospital and Yampa Valley Medical center in Steamboat. In addition, there are “affiliate hospitals” in the UC Health system located in NE and WY – Sydney Regional, Ivinson Memorial, Cheyenne Regional and Campbell County (Gillette). All their CEOs are UCH employees and use the Epic electronic medical record. READ MORE...
The History and Current Events Fellowship will meet this Wednesday after the noon meeting. Kip Turain and Martin Nelson will lead us to discuss Russia's war with Ukraine. Current tactical elements and weapons will be emphasized. Perhaps you have tactics to solve the conflicts without using weapons. Bring your questions and comments!

The Board has approved Mandy Denton for membership in the evening group. Mandy moved to Fort Collins two years ago from Lawrence, Kansas. She is a financial advisor and since moving here, has explored service opportunities with the Chamber of Commerce, the Junior League and the Larimer County Food Bank. Having gotten engaged recently, Mandy is looking forward to giving back to her new Fort Collins community.
