On Wednesday, 18 December 2024, Mike Forney and Phil Murphy will spellbind us with stories that celebrate the 20th year that Larimer County Spellbinders have entertained and inspired children around the State with stories not read but told with animation. Over the past year, forty five Spellbinders, including Rotarians and these two men visited 229 classrooms in 41 schools spinning yarns for about 8,500 children from kindergarten to fifth grade.  In all, the organization logged nearly 40,000 child experiences during the year. Stories are told, not read, preserving the long tradition which has imparted society’s collective wisdom, history and shared values since the dawn of human civilization. Mike and Phil will share how stories are found, developed, enhanced and delivered.
