Mike Howe has been an Ambassador for ShelterBox USA, giving presentations throughout Wyoming and elsewhere about this global organization. ShelterBox provides shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after disasters.
Starting with his membership in the Sequim, Washington Sunrise Rotary Club (where he is a Past-President), Mike was one of three Strategic Response Team members, sharing the impact of ShelterBox around the world. He also serves on the Ambassador Council, where he leads Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho efforts for ShelterBox USA. Mike was honored to be nominated for Ambassador of the Year and for Leader of the Year in 2021, and has been recognized as Ambassador of the Month multiple times. He has been a Rotarian for over 15 years, and is a Past-President of the Rotary Club of Casper, Wyoming.
