On August 3rd, 2021, we held our annual Service Above Self celebration, bringing light to those in and around our community who help others without thought or ego.

We were extremely excited to be at the Gardens on Spring Creek, as Rotary has close ties to the Gardens. Please check out this year's award winners.  Also here are some pictures of this great event.

Awardees

Congrats to Tanis Roeder, this year's Max Getts 4-Way Test awardee.
 
This award recognizes a Rotarian or non-Rotarian in our community who exemplifies the ethical principles of the 4-way Test in all that they do in their interactions with others
Congrats to Jean Lamm, this year's Five Avenues of Service Awardee.
 
This award recognizes a Rotarian who has demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service through Rotary by their personal efforts and involvement in one or more of the Five Areas of Service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service and Youth Service
Congrats to Jana Beasley, this year's Spirit of Rotary awardee.
 
This award recognizes a newer member of our club who has been extremely active in providing exemplary service to help our Rotary Club function and run smoothly.
Congrats to Carl Maxey (pictured on left), this year's Quiet Rotarian awardee.
 
This award recognizes a member who works diligently in rendering service to others without the desire for credit to themselves.
 
Congrats to Holly Petitt, this year's Alan Ashbaugh International Service Excellence awardee. Mary Ashbaugh presented the award.
 
These awards recognize Rotarians who exemplify Excellence in International Service Above Self, especially in his or her area of endeavors in our Rotary Club or in our Fort Collins community. This year we had two winners.
Congrats to Rajiv Mehta, this year's Alan Ashbaugh International Service Excellence awardee. Mary Ashbaugh presented the award.
 
These awards recognize Rotarians who exemplify Excellence in International Service Above Self, especially in his or her area of endeavors in our Rotary Club or in our Fort Collins community. This year we had two winners.
Congrats to Fort Collins Police Chief Jeff Swoboda our Service Above Self awardee.
 
This award recognizes a person who has significantly contributed to the betterment of life in the Fort Collins community. This person may or may not be a Rotarian but has demonstrated this concept of making things better for others by giving of themselves.
Congrats to John Trone, this year's Rotarian of the Year awardee.
 
This award recognizes a Rotarian for his or her all-around contribution to the success of the Rotary Club of Fort Collins.

Rotary Foundation Major Donor Awards
