RCFC Community Grants recently awarded $7,750 to the Fort Collins Rescue MissionThe Mission provides more meals and shelter to people experiencing homelessness than any other agency in northern Colorado.  Their goal is to help these individuals become productive, self-sufficient citizens by providing temporary living spaces and  access to long-term rehabilitation programs.
During COVID, the Mission moved into a temporary shelter on Blue Spruce drive.  Our grant of $7,750 will provide food and food supplies to feed the 110 people staying at the Blue Spruce facility.

Rotarians Dan Mackey and Kathy Nicol present the check to Jason Bryan, Director of Shelter Services for the Fort Collins Rescue Mission and Seth Forwood, Senior Director Fort Collins Rescue Mission and Harvest Farm.

This grant was funded by RCFC's Legacy Fund.  The Legacy Fund, our endowment fund, was created to develop and provide a permanent source of supplemental funding for humanitarian and charitable programs supported by the Rotary Club of Fort Collins.
