Rob was born in Saginaw, Michigan and served in the Navy as Corpsman and surgical assistant on the USS American aircraft carrier and served at the US Naval hospitals in Rhode Island and Virginia. He then graduated from the University of Michigan with a BGS degree. His career was in the insurance claims industry, serving as a field adjuster, supervisor and manager in Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania for 39 years and is now retired. Rob and Mary moved to Fort Collins 5 years ago to be closer to their family.
