Fort Collins Utilities Finance Director Joe Wimmer joins the evening group to present ideas for future improvements to our city.
As the Rotary Club of Fort Collins we obviously have a huge stake in any improvements made to the city’s transportation, infrastructure, etc. The City of Fort Collins, consequently, has reached out to us and requested to give a presentation this Wednesday, as they are eager to receive feedback on the types of improvement projects in the next 10 years we would like to see. This comes off the heels of an expiring sales tax up for renewal later this year. Since 1973, capital tax renewals have funded transportation projects, new parks and recreation facilities, and other amenities that have helped to shape our city into what it is today. Joe Wimmer, the Utilities Finance Director for the City, will be our guide as we look to Fort Collin’s future together. I hope you’ll play your part!
