More Than a Diagnosis: Family, Love, and Living with Disability (Evening Meeting)

Janice McAteer is the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for the BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming. She has nearly two decades working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities in the capacity of fundraising, marketing, and media relations, but her passion for people with disabilities comes from her lived experience as a sister and mother. Janice has an older sister who is blind with intellectual disabilities and an adult daughter with intellectual disabilities. She has two sons who live and work in the Pacific Northwest, as well as her daughter- in-law and two grand-girls. She also has a son who is a United States Marine, stationed at The Pentagon. She is married to Mike who warms her heart and makes her laugh and smile. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, camping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing tennis. She also loves dogs! She has been a Rotarian since 2013.
