On April 9th, Evening Member Curran Dunne will speak of his stint on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea.
Our membership is our treasure. The variety of experiences our club members have had over the years are remarkable and worth highlighting. That said, Curran Dunne may have had one of the most unique and challenging opportunities that any of us could imagine experiencing. Not long ago, Curran found himself at work in the Bering Sea, the freezing body of water between Alaska and Russia. Curran’s task, while there, was to fish for cod. He could hardly know what he was in for…For our Evening Program this week, we will get to learn what prompted Curran to go out to the Bering Sea, and what he learned while he was there, all while (thankfully) avoiding the smell of fish.
