Rotary International is known for actively promoting peace. Identifying root causes and using non-violent communication to get to mutual understanding and cooperation are important foundations for a world with less suffering.

In our experience working with many different organizations from 2 to 2000 people, we have learned that often people are suffering because there is too little conflict. It may be counter-intuitive that a high-performance organizational culture actually may need more organizational conflict, yet people thrive best when their teams can discuss conflicting ideas, values, and outcomes to uncover the best possible solutions.

Curious to find out how you and your team can have the kind of healthy conflict that will improve team dynamics?

At this presentation, Chris and Diana Hutchinson will share ways of encouraging positive, healthy, and productive conflict that can support people and organizations to achieve their fullest potential.
Takeaways from this presentation include:
  • Myths about conflict that get in our way
  • Conflict styles - benefits, challenges, when to use them
  • Tools to increase healthy conflict
  • Actions you can take today to improve your organization
