Nourish Colorado connects farms, ranches, and communities so everyone in Colorado can get fresh, healthy food. They push for fair food policies, run creative programs, and build local partnerships to create a balanced and healthy food system for all.
Rebecca Robbins is the Farm to Institution Senior Program Manager on the Healthy Food in Institutions team with Nourish Colorado. Prior to joining the Nourish team, Rebecca worked for five years as the Nutrition and Menu Specialist with Greeley-Evans Weld County School District 6. In her current role, Rebecca provides technical assistance to school districts participating in Colorado’s Local Food Program and assists with project management for the team's additional statewide projects focused on Farm to Institution and value chain coordination work. She is deeply passionate about and committed to child nutrition, nutrition education, food sovereignty, food systems, and food policy work. Rebecca lives in Loveland with her partner, two-year-old daughter, and pup, and, outside of work, you'll find her enjoying any sort of outdoor activity and spending time with friends and family!

Laurel Smith is Nourish Colorado's Value Chain Coordinator, serving Colorado's Double Up Food Bucks program by supporting small groceries and corner stores to offer Colorado-grown produce as consistently as possible. Her passion for localizing our food system for economic, social, and environmental benefit comes from over ten years growing vegetables - at Buena Vida Farm in Fort Collins, at Stonebridge Farm in Longmont (home of the oldest continually-running CSA in Colorado), and as Garden Director for Garden to Table (supporting 20 school gardens across Boulder County).

Daysi Sweaney serves as the Nutrition Incentives Director at Nourish Colorado, where she leads statewide implementation of nutrition incentive programs and advances food access policy at both the state and federal level. Originally from Peru and now rooted in Colorado, Daysi has spent her career working to improve equity in food systems and championing the right to healthy, fresh food for all, regardless of race, income, or immigration status. Her work bridges community engagement, policy advocacy, and systems change to reduce access barriers and elevate the voices of those most impacted by food insecurity.

Lindsey is the Senior Development Manager at Nourish Colorado. She grew up in the suburbs of Washington DC and studied business and environmental studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She moved to Colorado shortly after and spent a few months in 2017 working on an organic vegetable and maple syrup farm in New Hampshire, where she built a deep appreciation for our natural world and all its wonders. Lindsey is passionate about local agriculture and protecting our natural environment. When she’s not working, Lindsey loves to camp, hike, swing dance, go to concerts, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.
