RCFC is thrilled to honor CSU sophomore Skyler James Pastro as the Cadet of the Month for February 2025!
Skyler was born & raised in New York City until 9 years old, then moved to Madison, NJ. He is studying Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Concentration and is highly involved in the Battalion as a MSII Cadet. Approaching his graduation and commissioning in Spring 2028 he hopes to be assigned to the Infantry branch. Outside ROTC and studies he carves out time to enjoy skiing, hiking, weight lifting, video games and shooting with friends. He stated he “chose ROTC because it seemed like a great way to get a degree and serve in the military.” Skylar also wanted to serve to protect his Country and democracy, while helping others. Rotary congratulates Slyler on this recognition and wishes him the very best in his remaining time at CSU!
