This week during our evening meeting at Sweetwater Brewery, we welcome Erin Hottenstein as our guest speaker. Erin Hottenstein is a Board Director at the Health District of Northern Larimer County. She was elected by the public in May 2023 to a four-year term. The board provides policy direction and oversight since the Health District receives property taxes. Erin was motivated to run for several reasons, including to raise the profile of the Health District in the community and to expand mental health resources.
The Health District focuses on three main areas. It provides mental health resources to both children and adults - in particular navigation. It operates a sliding scale dental clinic. It also provides health insurance navigation. The Health District does offer some other services, but on a smaller scale.
In her full-time professional work, Erin serves as a Senior Advisor at Trebuchet Group. She works with leaders and their teams to take their performance to a higher level as they navigate change, take action, and build on strengths they already possess. As an executive coach, Erin helps clients move from feeling stuck to moving forward with clarity and confidence. Specializing in helping leaders communicate effectively, she utilizes personality assessments to introduce the power of self-awareness and healthy conflict. As an advisor, she supports teams with strategic planning and facilitation, equipping groups as they align around powerful visions and common goals.
She brings 20 years of experience as a consultant, trainer, facilitator, and coach in business, collegiate, and community settings. During her early career in journalism, Erin worked in radio, television and print for which she earned numerous awards at the state and national level.
