My name is Curran Dunne, I am 23 years old. I currently work in the HVAC industry for Swan heating and cooling, a local company out of Loveland. Grew up in Beorne Tx and was raised by my father David Dunne and mother Lisa Dunne. I have currently one younger sibling Kiera Dunne. When I was 18 years old I went out and worked on a cod boat in Alaska. We sailed the bearing sea for 55 days straight(18hr on 6hrs off). I feel like this helped shaped me into the young man I am today. It tested my emotional and physical limits every day I was out on that boat. Recently moved to Colorado about three years ago, lived up in Estes for a year and a half before moving down the mountain.
Now I currently reside locally in Fort Collins. I do not see myself moving back to Texas or Estes anytime soon! In my free time I’ll either be with my family or at a volunteer project/getting involved with the Community! When I was a little kid, I said the four-way test at a district conference. I wasn’t sure if I even fully knew what the four-way test meant then. Being able to fully comprehend and realize what the four-way test now I use it every day. It has helped me in making business decisions as well as personal decisions. I want to spread this message to anybody and everybody who doesn’t already know about it! The feeling that I can shape someone's life for the better by being a Rotarian is unexplainable. I feel that you should not volunteer for the praise or to boost your resume. You should do it simply because it needs to be done. Everyone that I have met that is a part of Rotary seems to have the exact same agenda and I want to be on that team!
