July 2nd. Our Community Grant Committee, represented by Don Jorgensen, presented a $2,000 check to Crossroads Safehouse to support its "Time to Talk" teen dating violence prevention program.
Manager Megan Harvey and Executive Director Lori Warren were on-site to receive the check. For the past 45 years Crossroads has provided emergency safehousing, advocacy, legal assistance, and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence. "Time to Talk" is peer-led presentations about teen dating violence and healthy relationships facilitated every school year in all Poudre School District High Schools and several area charter schools, and is part of Crossroads' broader Outreach and Prevention Program. We sincerely thank Megan, Lori, and Crossroads for the services they provide to our Northern Colorado community and families.
