Most of us have heard about the Aurora Borealis (aka Northern Lights) and maybe barely seen them here if we were lucky.  Lynn and Lois Matson have made several extended trips to northern Norway to visit relatives, enjoy the communities there, and study and photograph the frequent and majestic light shows the earth provides at such high latitudes.  He will delight us with his photography and expert explanation of the events and of the communities there. Lynn is a Rotarian from the Loveland Club and now the Fort Collins Breakfast Club and has spoken to our club about district events.
Lynn is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Engineering Operations and Industrial Engineering Business.  He worked for Hewlett Packard for 23 years including his position as the Project Manager for the IT Department’s Application Support team in Loveland.  He’s retired now and is active in Rotary leadership and service projects including the Rubber Duck Race fundraiser, chairing a District 5440 Conference,  tutoring 3rd graders and teaching the 4-way Test with 8th graders.
