CSU senior Cadet Jack Shea is the RCFC Cadet of the Month for April 2025!
Jack hails from Lake Forest, IL and is proud of his familiar military heritage, giving a shout out to his Grandpa who flew fixed-wing aircraft in Vietnam, cousin’s connections and an Uncle who was in the Navy. He credits a defining moment in his decision to attend CSU to the campus visit as a HS senior and the impressive guide who navigated him around campus and presented CSU in a good light. Early in his CSU ROTC experience he earned the coveted parachute wings, completing his training at Fort Benning, GA. This year, he leads the Army ROTC Battalion with credibility, as the Physical Training Officer, having scored an amazing 592 out of 600 possible points on the PT test, himself! Outside ROTC Jack is in the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, enjoys mountain biking, is a skilled woodworker and gifts an incredible amount of time with charity and service events. He will graduate this Spring with a Business Science degree, with a focus on Supply Chain Management. The Army will capitalize on his talents as he trains to be an Infantry officer and he eagerly looks forward to serving soldiers as a Platoon Leader. Rotary congratulates Jack on his selection and extends our very best for his future!
