Cadet Owen Fruchtenicht is the Rotary Club of Fort Collins Cadet of the Month, April 2026! Owen is a CSU freshman pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree and has sights on graduating and commissioning into the US Army in 2030.
He hails from Walnut Creek, CA and is excelling in impressing the Ram Battalion cadre with his skills and being an outstanding battle-buddy to his fellow classmates. Outside Army ROTC and academics, Owen enjoys the outdoors, mountain biking, being involved with the SnowRiders Club, and acknowledges that football is his favorite sport! When he commissions in 2030 he hopes to enter as a Combat Engineer or Infantry Officer. Rotary Club congratulates Owen and wishes him the best in his time at CSU!
