Welcome to the Rotary Leadership Academy, a dynamic 6-week cohort-based program designed by the Rotary Club of Fort Collins to foster a community where aspiring leaders can hone their skills, exchange ideas, and thrive collectively. 

Taught by esteemed community leaders, topics include Personal Leadership, Public Speaking, Strategic Planning & Vision Setting, Project Management & Facilitation, Change Management, and Execution Fundamentals. 

Rotary Leadership Academy was created with two goals in mind:

  1. To establish a reputation for the Rotary Club of Fort Collins as a place where individuals can grow as leaders in their personal and professional lives
  2. To help cultivate the future leadership of our community and our club

About Rotary Leadership Academy
Rotary Leadership Academy will run April through September (6 months), with one 3-hour session per month at the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. This initial cohort will be complimentary as we seek feedback throughout the launch of this program. Future cohorts will be priced at an estimated $500 per person. 
 
The sessions will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, the following is the schedule for our initial cohort: 
  • 4/11/24
  • 5/9/24
  • 6/13/24
  • 7/11/24
  • 8/8/24
  • 9/12/24
Additional details:
  • Cohorts will be limited to 10 people 
  • Homework or pre-work may be requested by session leaders to enhance the impact of their sessions
  • Sessions are in-person at the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Participants can not miss more than 1 session to successfully complete the program 
  • Session duration will be up to 3 hours and will feature light dinner for each participant 
  • Participants will be required to complete a checklist of activities in addition to attending the sessions, including: attending a Rotary Club of Fort Collins board meeting, giving a short personal presentation during one of the meeting times, supporting the annual golf tournament, etc. 
  • A certificate of completion will be provided
