The Board of Directors has approved the membership and transfer from the Summit County Rotary Club David "Woody" Woodland.
Originally from the UK, Woody holds a PhD in Immunology from the Max Planck Institute for Immunobiology in Freiburg, West Germany. In 1985, he moved to the United States to establish a research career in respiratory immunology at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, and the Trudeau Institute at Saranac Lake, NY. He became a naturalized US citizen in 1993. A scientific consultant since 2017, Woody also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Interferon and Cytokine Research. A Past Secretary and President of the Summit County club, Woody was named the District 5450 Rotarian of the Year for 2021-22. Having moved to Fort Collins earlier this year, Woody and his wife Dr. Marcy Woodland have two adult children.
