Announcements

Venue and Facilities team reported that the Club has given the MAC 120 days notice and we will be moving our meeting location to the Drake Center, beginning November 1.  Rainbow Catering will be providing meals!  This is the caterer that provided meals when the club met at the Lincoln Center.  The Drake Center has been able to address the facility issues that we had when we met their previously.

The next Outdoors Fellowship trip will be August 27th.  Stay tuned for details.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the Rotogear.
  • A photographer to back up Kelly Kesler when he cannot be here.
  • An announcement editor to help with getting the weekly announcements into the bulletin.
  • Anyone with ideas of how to improve either or both the website and the written edition of the Rotogear.
Please contact Randy, Erin or Kelly.

Don Eversoll is looking for Courtesy Cart drivers for the hospitals at least 2 hour a week. This is
a great way to give back and get a little fresh air. If the warm weather bothers you he also is
looking for volunteers for the information desks. Don will have sign-up the next two weeks for
both opportunities.

The Rotary Club of Fort Collins is now part of the Colorado Gives program which supports year-around giving via the web. Colorado Gives operates a web site promoting  giving to 1800 Colorado nonprofit organizations.  In addition to providing up-to-date information about our club, it provides additional visibility and publicity for our Club’s  activities.  All donations will go to increase the Legacy Fund which is an endowment to support the Club’s charitable activities into the future.  Check it out by logging onto ColoradoGives.org and searching for Rotary Club of Fort Collins Charities, Inc.

Peach Festival 2016
Its PEACH TIME! We are getting very excited for the 6th Annual Peach Festival on Saturday August 20th at Hughes Stadium.
This year we are extending the festival hours until 6pm and adding a few new and exciting things that we will be sharing with everyone at upcoming Rotary meetings.
We are using an online volunteer sign up process again to help steamline the process and send reminders to everyone who signs up.  This year all of the slots are on one list so be sure to sign up early to get the slots you want.
Here is how it works in 3 easy steps:

1) Click this link to view all volunteer slots: http://signup.com/go/PeachFestival

2) Review the options listed and chose the spots you would like.

3) Signup! It is easy-you will not need to register an account or keep a password. Note Signup.com does not share your email address with anyone.

Thank you in advance for all you do to help make the Peach Festival a big success! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about volunteering or the festival itself!

Warm regards,Tanis Roeder
