Tim Cochran
In 2019 he took a regional position based in Bogota, Colombia. This allowed his family to have one final stint overseas together where they took advantage to explore the region. So both of their daughters were born in Taiwan and then graduated from high school in Colombia.
In 2012 Tim and Carol decided to take the entrepreneurial leap, which led them to Fort Collins, as Tim said, the Napa Valley of Beer, and have been working on making their dream of owning a craft brewery a reality. Tim said that moving to Fort Collins has answered something in his soul. Whether it is hiking in RMNP, or fly fishing in the Poudre, orsimply biking around Fort Collins, he is very happy to be here.
Tim told us about his connection with Rotary. At least two generations have been Rotarians and he truly believes that his father, a lifelong Rotarian and past president of two different clubs, taught him and his siblings the 4-way test as a way of life. He said that he is glad to be able to be a part of this organization that has influenced his early years. In closing he wanted to thank all members. He said that “Rotary’s focus on ‘Service Above Self’ as well as the goal of improving international understanding resonate deeply within me, so I thank you all wor welcoming me to the 1918 Downtown Fort Collins Rotary Club – The Singing Club!”
