Teacher of the Month - Allison Alter

Allison Alter, an Art Teacher at Fort Collins High School was honored as the Teacher of the Month.
Allison teachers Visual Art at Fort Collins High School (FCHS). Allison remarked that this "is the best job in the world. Throughout the course of the day, I teach Advanced level Art students that will soon head off to some of the most prestigious Art schools in the country, but I also teach kids that are just curious about Art and want to try something new. I'm also proud to have developed the first and only high school Adaptive Art program for Severely Autistic students 
in our district. So, my days run the gammet from writing letters of recommendation for college-bound students, to working hand over hand to make art with students that don't possess the motor skills necessary to hold a paint brush on their own."
